be that the Holy Spirit has placed it upon your heart to be
here at this moment.
My name is Bob Lewis and I have been a Christian since 1949.
I was 9 years old when I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior
and asked Him to come into my heart and take control of my life.
He never promised any Christian or me a “bed of roses”. What He DID promise is
Eternal Life with Him in Heaven and that He would walk with us while here on
earth if we will only admit that you are a sinner, ask forgiveness for your sins,
accept Him as our personal Lord and Savior, and commit yourself to following Him.
That’s what I have found… He is ALWAYS there. Knowing that gives you great peace of mind.
The road to Heaven starts for all people: Rich/Poor; Tall/Short;
Weak/Strong at the same place…the foot of the Cross that Jesus died on for our sins.
See...2,000 years ago, God sent His Holy Spirit to this Earth to
come upon the Virgin Mary in the little city of Nazareth.
He caused her to bear God's Son 9-months later in the little city of
Bethlehem of Judea. The Holy Spirit instructed Mary and her husband,
Joseph,to name the Baby, Jesus, which they did.
Jesus, God’s Son, lived a perfectly sinless life for the entire 33-years He lived on this Earth.
He performed many miracles, all documented in The Holy Bible: He changed
water to wine at a wedding feast in Cana; He made the blind to see, the deaf to hear,
the dumb to speak and the lame to walk; He fed 4,000 people on a small
amount of bread and fish once and 5,000 plus their wives and children another time;
He walked on water; He calmed the angry sea with His command; He healed lepers;
He caused a coin to be in a fishes’ mouth straight out of the sea so The Disciples could pay their taxes;
He raised Lazarus from the dead after Lazarus had been in a tomb in Bethany for four days
…and most importantly…Christ died an Atoning Death for our sins on the
Cross at Calvary 2,000 years ago so that you and I could go to Heaven.
He also was buried in a tomb on that day but rose from the dead on the third day.
That is the day we all call Easter!
If He hadn’t done this, we would have no hope. There would be no
way for us to get into Heaven where He is preparing a place for us right now.
Please remember that God DID NOT HAVE TO DO THIS! Under His
Old Covenant with the Jews, the Priest had to sacrifice bulls,
rams, ewes, lambs, pigeons, turtledove, grain, etc. for
forgiveness of their sins and for offerings to God.
Under The New Covenant through Christ, Christ's Blood on the
Cross forever paid the price for our sins; and this is true
for the entire human race, not just the Jews! All you have
to do is Believe that Christ died on the Cross for your sins,
was buried in a rich man's tomb (Joseph of Arimathea) and
rose from the dead on the third day: Easter! Believe that,
and say in a Prayer that you confess you are a sinner, ask
forgiveness of those sins, ask Christ into your heart, thank
Him for coming into your heart and give Him control of your
life; Pray that in Christ's Name and you have your Ticket
to Heaven: NO ONE CAN TAKE IT AWAY! You are now a New
Creation!
Remember: ALL sin MUST be paid for! If you accept Christ as your Lord
and Savior then YOUR sins are bought and paid for by His Death,
Burial and Resurrection.
If you choose to NOT accept Him, then YOU have
to pay the price... by being thrown into the lake of fire, for
Eternity on Judgment Day.
Now, regarding the OFFERINGS that the Jews had to make:
That was replaced in the New Covenant by bringing a Tithe
or 10% of all that you earn to His Church.
If you do not do this, you are stealing that money
from God... and that is NOT a wise thing to do.
Malachi 3:10, in the old Testament, God makes it very
clear through His Prophet Malichi, in Malichi 3:10:
"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there
may be food in my house. Test me in this, says the LORD
Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates
of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will
not be room enough to store it!"
God doesn't really NEED your money: He owns EVERYTHING
in the world, anyway! He wants you to do this in Faith!
You will find it literally Amazing what He will do for you
if you will have this kind of Faith: You will find that
suddenly, you have enough money to pay all of your bills
and you will literally be a happier person! You are in
OBEDIENCE TO THE FATHER! Just try it for 90-days!
When you were born, God gave you a Free Will!
We are not like birds, fish, reptiles and animals
who He has basically "programmed" by instinct to
make the decisions in their lives. For example,
Geese instinctively fly south for the winter,
some birds instinctively build nests that hang
from a tree limb! Bears instinctively hibernate
in the winter, etc. But God has given we Humans
the ability to CHOOSE what we do in life!
Its SO SIMPLE! Almost as simple as the billions of people who
refused to believe Noah when he tried to tell them
that there was going to be a flood!
They refused to get on the boat!
For us, Christ is The Boat.
He has VERY BROAD SHOULDERS!
Believe on Him, PLEASE!
It is your choice!
He made at least ten appearances, over a period of
40-days, after His Resurrection, to over 500 people.
Later, Many of them
were subjected to unbelievable torture to try and get
them to renounce their Testimony of
His Resurrection from the dead. None did!
40-days after His Resurrection, He ascended into Heaven on a cloud while on the
road to Bethany. Fifty days later, The Holy Spirit, whom The Lord promised
would be sent, descended on a group of believers in Jerusalem. This Day is called Pentecost.
The Holy Spirit’s arrival completed the Trinity of: God, Our Father;
Jesus Christ, Our Savior and The Holy Spirit, Our Counselor.
Again: You can be a Christian and get into Heaven if you
will pray to God that:
1) You know you are a sinner, (a sin is anything that is against the Will of God)
2) Confess your sins to Him,
3) Ask Him for forgiveness for your sins,
4) Ask Jesus to come into your heart as Savior and Lord and take control of your life, and
5) Ask all these things in Jesus’ Holy Name.
If you can say the above prayer sincerely and mean it, you will go to Heaven
because He said while He was here on Earth that He was The Way,
the Truth and the Life and NO ONE comes to the Father except by Him. (John 14:6)
By saying the above prayer, you have gone to the Father through Jesus.
You have your ticket. No one can take it away...
just as no one can ever change the fact
that your parents are your parents... and no one
can change that fact... once you accept
Christ as your Savior, no one can alter that fact.
You are His forever! Eternally! You need have no fear of death. When you die,
your spirit will immediately be in the presence of the Lord and you will have
your Eternal Body that will NEVER DIE OR GET SICK OR HAVE ANY PAIN!
If you die without having accepted Christ as your personal Savior, you will go to
Hades where you will be held in an isolated cell until the Great White Throne Judgment
at the end of Christ’s Millenium (1,000 year) Rule on earth, more on this later.
One other possibility is that the Lord could
return before you die, in which case, if you
are a Christian, you will rise to meet Him in
the air and assume your Heavenly, Eternal Body
with all other living Christians to
be with Him in Heaven for all of Eternity.
Those who have NOT accepted Christ as their
personal Savior when He Returns, will be "left
behind." The Church and all Christians will be
gone. The last Book of the Bible, Revelations,
describes what will happen for the next 7-years:
1.) The anti-christ will rise to power controlled
by Satan, he will have a "lieutenant" who will
have a large golden idol constructed and you will
be requied to worship that idol and have a "mark"
placed upon your right-hand or forehead in order
to get a job or buy things.
2.) If you do NOT
worship the idol or allow the "mark" to be placed
upon your hand or forehead, you will be killed.
3.) If you have decided to accept Christ in this
environment, prior to your death, you will rule
with Him during the Millenium (1,000 years)
on earth when He defeats Satan, the anti-christ
and his lieutenant at the end of 7-years.
4.) After that defeat, the anti-christ and his
lieutenant will be thrown into the Lake of Fire
and Satan will be bound for 1,000 years
(50-generations).
5.) At the end of that 1,000 years,
Satan will be released for a brief period of time.
He will gather together a large group that will
TRY to attack Christ and His Followers Who have
been ruling on earth for 1,000 years.. God will
destroy them by fire prior to that attack and
Satan will be thrown into the Lake of Fire with
the anti-christ and his lieutenant for Eternity.
The Stage is then set for the Great White Throne
Judgment.
If you die before OR after the Lord comes again before and you have
NOT accepted Christ as your personal Savior, your options expire!
You will go to Hades where you will be held in an isolated cell until Judgment Day,
The Great White Throne Judgment (Revelations 20:11), which will come
1,007 years (see above) after the Lord comes again
to get all Christians (The Rapture) 1 Thessalonians 4:16.
On that Day, unless you have accepted Christ as your personal Savior, you will be
brought before God, The Father, found guilty of never having admitted to being a
sinner, never having accepted Christ, His Son, as your personal Lord and Savior
and you will be thrown by Mighty Angels into the Lake of Fire for Eternity
(Please see Revelation 21:8, the last Book in the Holy Bible). See, ALL sinners
are condemned (and ALL have sinned and come short of the Glory of God) to
death and eventually Hell, unless the price has been paid… and for Christians, Jesus paid the price!.
The ONLY way to remove God, The Father’s wrath against YOU is to accept
His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ (John 3:16) as your personal Lord
and Savior because He has paid the price for your sins with His Blood!.
There is NO other way! John 14:6 states very clearly that Jesus is the Way,
the Truth and the Life and NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH HIM!
No Christian will even
be brought before God on this Great
Judgment Day. Only those who have NOT accepted
Christ as their Savior.
Another very important point to remember is:
If you ARE a Christian at that time,
you will be looking over Christ's shoulder at
those who are condemned to the lake
of fire for eternity and MAY see them gaze at
you as they are carried off asking
why you never told them about Jesus.
Please don’t let the blood of a friend, relative or loved one be on your hands
at that time. Here and now, if you have doubts about someone’s Salvation, tell
them about our Jesus. It would be better for you to assume someone is lost,
tell them about Jesus and find out they are already Saved… than to
assume they are Saved, not tell them about Jesus and them be lost.
How long is Eternity? Imagine a little dove
sitting on the moon.
Imagine the Earth to be a solid marble ball. Every 100 years the little dove
flies to Earth and barely touches one of its wings to the solid marble ball.
By the time the dove has worn the ball to the size of a little marble… Eternity would have just begun!

Bonar asked 253 Christian friends at what AGES they
Were converted.
Here is what he discovered:
Under 20 years of age: 138
Between 20 and 30: 85
Between 30 and 40: 22
Between 40 and 50: 4
Between 50 and 60: 3
Between 60 and 70: 1
Over 70: 0
Have you trusted Christ as your personal Savior?
Christ died for your sins; confess, believe and be saved. 1. Cor. 15:1-4.
Faith Alone, in Christ Alone
Believing Christ died, that’s HISTORY.
Believing Christ died for YOUR sins and rose again, that’s SALVATION.

The Peril of a Life That Rebels
BIBLE MEDITATION:
Thus saith the Lord, “Go and get a potter’s earthen bottle… Then shalt thou break the bottle in the sight of the men that are with thee, and shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; even so will I break this people and this city, as one breaketh a potter’s vessel that cannot be made whole again….” “Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon her towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it, because they hardened their necks, that they might not hear My words.” Jeremiah 19:1, 10-11, 15
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
You can say, “Well, I’m not going to yield to God.” Then you are clay that is going to be hardened. There is peril in a life that rebels against God. Some vessels when they hear about hidden impurities and stubborn resistance will be broken and say, “Here I am Lord, I yield myself to you. I repent. Take me, make me, mold me. Give me a new start.”
Or you can say, “It’s my life. I’m going to live it the way I want to live it. I’m not going to yield.” That is your privilege. But if you do that, you’re going to be hardened in that position, and once the clay is hardened, the Potter cannot remold it. He cannot remake it.
ACTION POINT:
God gives a second chance. When you read the Bible, you find it is full of people to whom God gave a second chance. But always, always they were pliable. Search your heart. Are you pliable?
